While those areas draw the crowds, Tuscia remains a well-kept secret, offering a captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Here, we'll find ancient Etruscan ruins, lush landscapes, and charming towns with surprises and secret places that only the locals know about, inviting us to experience Italy in a way few others have. While we taste and explore our way through Tuscia, we’ll have daily personalized painting instruction with Mary, unique experiences organized by our on-site luxury travel staff and, of course, lots of incredible Italian cuisine.

OCTOBER 5 » ARRIVE IN TUSCIA
Upon arrival to Rome’s FCO airport, your private driver will take you to our villa in the Tuscian countryside. Together, we’ll enjoy a welcome drink and private tour of the property with local Italian friends. We’ll then have a relaxing dinner before resting overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 6 » PAINTING AT ANTICO BORGO DI SUTRI
We’ll start our day with a leisurely breakfast at the villa before immersing ourselves in a morning painting session on the beautiful grounds of Antico Borgo di Sutri. Lunch will feature a wine tasting paired with local delicacies, giving us a true taste of the region. In the afternoon, we’ll have time to relax before resuming our painting session. We’ll then end the day with a typical dinner at the villa. Overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 7 » SACRO BOSCO & VITERBO
After breakfast, we'll depart for Sacro Bosco, also known as Monster Park, where we'll enjoy a unique painting session amid the park's surreal 16th century sculptures made famous in modern times by Salvador Dali. Afterward, we'll transfer to the historic city of Viterbo for lunch at a local osteria, followed by free time to explore, shop, and paint in the medieval town. In the evening, we'll dine at Osteria del Borgo in Bracciano before returning to the villa. Overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 8 » TREVIGNANO & VICO LAKE
We’ll have breakfast at the villa before transferring to Acquarella Restaurant, set along the picturesque shores of Vico Lake. Here, you’ll have a painting session with stunning views of the water. A seated lunch at the restaurant will follow, with ample time to relax afterward. In the evening, we’ll return to Vico Lake for a sunset aperitif and dinner. Overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 9 » PAINTING AT ANTICO BORGO DI SUTRI
The day begins with breakfast at the villa, followed by a morning painting session with Mary to plan our ‘masterpiece’ painting for the trip. After lunch, we'll have time to rest and finish up any works in progress. In the evening, we’ll have a pizza-making cooking class with Italian experts to show our culinary skills, followed by a pizza dinner. Overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 10 » PAINTING AT CIVITA DI BAGNOREGIO
After breakfast, we’ll depart for the enchanting town of Civita di Bagnoregio, known as "the dying city" due to its dramatic position atop a crumbling hill. We’ll spend the day capturing the breathtaking views and unique architecture through plein air painting sessions. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local trattoria, offering regional dishes with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The day continues with more time to paint or explore the town before our farewell dinner. Overnight at Antico Borgo di Sutri.
OCTOBER 11 » DEPART FOR HOME
After breakfast, private transfers will be arranged for you to Rome’s FCO airport.
